Among connoisseurs, Swiss tobacco ranks among the great rarities of the tobacco world: around 700 tonnes harvested per year – next to nothing on a global scale, internationally sought after at premium prices. Heimat is the manufactory that keeps this rare leaf entirely within the country: from the field through fermentation in Payerne to refinement in Steinach on Lake Constance. This compendium gathers the knowledge behind it – varieties, craft, care.
Two characters. One origin.
Anyone who has held a fermented Swiss leaf between their fingers understands why connoisseurs speak of it with such reverence: dense, aromatic, with a depth mass-produced tobacco simply does not know. Every Heimat product exists in two varieties. Both grow on the same Swiss fields – their character parts ways only later: in the curing method and in the duration of fermentation. It is not the recipe that decides, but time.
The aroma is not made in a laboratory. It emerges over weeks of fermentation in Payerne – shaped by the soil, by the summer, by patience. Connoisseurs taste Swiss tobacco the way they taste a great wine: every vintage carries its own signature, every terroir its own hand. It is precisely this singularity that makes it a rarity.
Soft and round. Fine hay, freshly cut grass, a clear, light finish. Nothing imposes itself – everything is in its place.
Earthy, full, of tangible depth. The long fermentation shapes full, deep tones – a tobacco with poise.
On attentive tasting: a hint of honey and grain. An aroma that does not explain itself, but reveals itself.
Hints of dark wood, roasted nuts, a quiet, tart spiciness. The finish lingers – as Swiss tobacco has done for generations.
Both varieties exist in three formats. The leaf is the same – only the cut differs, tailored to the way it is enjoyed.
Heimat Original is the only cigarette in the world made from 100 % Swiss tobacco. Grown in nine cantons, fermented in Payerne, refined in Steinach on Lake Constance. Every step stays in the country – documented, traceable, without exception. Among connoisseurs it is one of a kind: the only format in which this rarity can be experienced in its completed form.
No imports, no blending down. Every leaf comes from Swiss family farms – from the Broye, the Seeland, from Lake Constance.
The taste comes from the leaf, the fermentation and time. From nothing else.
Measured not in units, but in vintages. The manufactory team knows every batch personally.
Traceable from field to pack. At Heimat, origin is not a promise – it is on record.
RYO stands for « Roll Your Own ». The field-fresh fine cut reaches the 30g pouch by the shortest route – barely stored, its character unaltered. To roll your own is to own the ritual: the leaf, the paper, the moment.
MYO stands for « Make Your Own » – tobacco for filling filter tubes. The 250g tin is the grand reserve of the manufactory: a hand-picked traditional blend for those who do not sample Heimat, but live it. Every tin comes from a documented batch – traceable back to the field.
🔥 Finely balanced ratio
Tobacco and hemp, precisely dosed for a balanced, pleasant smoking experience.
🛠 Processed in our manufactory
Not a mass product, but Swiss craft from a real tobacco & hemp workshop.
💨 Clear in aroma. Smooth on the draw.
The combination of Swiss tobacco and CBD hemp creates a well-rounded character: never heavy, never hectic.
Tobacco and hemp are two plants with a history. Both have been grown, dried and rolled for centuries, mostly separately, rarely together. We bring them together. Not as an experiment, but as a composition.
Our Pre-Rolls Tabak & Hanf are a dialogue between two worlds: the clean draw of natural Swiss tobacco meets the gentle depth of selected CBD flowers. Both in balance. No off-the-shelf blend, but finely dosed and harmoniously woven together.
The tobacco? 100 % Swiss Made. No additives, no gimmicks, with natural nicotine and just the right amount of character.
The hemp? Lab tested, rich in terpenes, THC below 1 %.
The result: smooth on the finish, clear in aroma. Something between campfire, soundtrack and self-determination, with a scent profile between lime and honey.
The pre-rolls themselves: cleanly made, ready to light. No additives, no artificial flavouring, just tobacco with natural nicotine content and finely balanced hemp flower. Leaf, craft and attitude in every draw.
This blend isn't loud. But it stays with you.
This blend isn't for extremes. It's for everyone who doesn't ask what's inside, but why.
