The Heimat brand, known for its innovative and sustainable tobacco and hemp products, is approaching a significant milestone: Roger Koch, founder and visionary behind the “Heimat” brand, has decided to step down from operational management of the company.

This transition is the result of a long-term and carefully planned process aimed at optimally positioning "Heimat" for future challenges and new growth opportunities both domestically and internationally. Under Roger Koch's leadership, "Heimat" has enjoyed increasing popularity and attracted more and more consumers and partners with its claim to be a local, organic niche in the international tobacco and hemp market.

"The decision to relinquish operational responsibility was not an easy one for me, but it is the right time for this step. I am proud of what we have achieved with 'Heimat' and am pleased to be handing the brand over to a strong and experienced successor, whom I personally respect highly. My focus in the future will be on supporting 'Heimat' in an advisory role," explains Roger Koch.

Christian Hälg, a long-time employee at "Heimat" and previously responsible for Marketing and Business Development, is an experienced and competent successor who has intensively prepared for this role. He not only brings a breath of fresh air to operations but also leads "Heimat" into a new era of independence and stronger international growth.

Christian Hälg explains: "I am very pleased to take on responsibility for 'Heimat'. This brand stands for everything that is important to me: quality, sustainability, and innovation. With Heimat Manufaktur as a strong producer behind it, the brand is more independent and stable than ever. Our goal is to make 'Heimat' even more well-known and establish it as the epitome of sustainable products."

A central component of this strategy is the planned expansion into Germany in 2026. With an eye on the international market, “Heimat” aims to continue its success story and reach new target groups.
